PSI adds ‘Activiti’ & ‘BonitaSoft’ to its repertoire of BPM tools
In line with its strategy of being a ‘one-stop-BPM-shop’, PSI has now added expertise on Activiti and BonitaSoft (open source BPM tools) to its repertoire. This strategic decision will enable PSI to be a full scale BPM solutions provider and provide value added services to both SME’s and large enterprises.
“Both ‘Activiti’ and ‘Bonita’ are stable, very capable tools with a clear roadmap and are slowly gaining momentum within BPM space. For business, usage of such tools greatly reduces ‘Total Cost of Ownership’” says Lalit Choudhary, AVP at PSI and its BPM Practice Head.
Activiti is a light weight workflow and Business Process Management (BPM) platform targeted at business users, developers and system administrators. It’s core is a super-fast and rock solid BPMN2 process engine for Java. Activiti runs in any Java application, on a server, on a cluster or in the cloud.
Bonita Open Solutions combines three solutions in one: an innovative studio for process modeling, a powerful BPM and workflow engine, and a breakthrough user interface.
PSI is aiming to leverage on these open source BPM tools and build a library of generic BPM solutions which can then be easily customized, thus reducing the time to market for its customers.
PSI will continue to explore, adapt new technologies and help businesses to achieve greater operational efficiency and reduce costs.
